Possibly amusing background:

My jeans are loose enough that I use a belt when I'm out of the house (yay medication side effects helping me lose weight, heh). Inside the house, however, I tend to wander around with the belt undone and gradually working its way out of the loops (though I have yet to reach Homer Simpson-esque levels and snap it out with a whipcrack noise). Thus this morning, as I toddled into the bathroom to take care of the usual morning things, my belt was out of two loops and hanging down behind me in a long tail... as I discovered when I sat down.

Me: Augh! I just dipped my belt in the loo!

Hubby: Ew! Do you have a spare?

Me: ...no. (;_;) *wash wipe wipe rinse wipe sniff wipe* At least I realised before I peed on it.

Hubby: Yeah. You know, that sounds hilarious. "Oh man, I totally peed on my belt." You know it means something bad, like "who peed in your cornflakes?". And people would overhear you and be like "Wow, haven't heard that one before, what's that a euphemism for?" "I dunno man, but it sounds AWESOME."

Me: *snicker*

Hubby: Three weeks from now Tom Cruise is on a daytime talk show being asked how he feels about his impending divorce. "It's like I peed on my belt, you know?"

Me: *ROFL!* I'm so putting this on Livejournal.

Hubby: For us it's a Livejournal post, for Alanis Morissette it's a new song. "Isn't it ironic? It's like I peeeeeed... on my be-he-hellllllt..."

[Insert five minutes of two people, giggling hysterically, trying to come up with lyrics that will actually scan to that tune. XD]
