Everything's going just peachy here in Japan, but back at home in Canberra, Australia, my housemates have been evacuated and my home is currently threatened by major bushfires. Oh boy oh boy oh boy... and we thought LAST year was bad!

Well, my housemates are out and safe, they took the cats and the dog with them, and so far it looks like my house is OK... *sigh* hopefully, the situation there will keep improving.

Date: 2003-01-19 02:13 pm (UTC)Watching the news is really scary... nightmarish images and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Christy & her hubby are safe AND will stay safe (together with the menagerie) and the house too... sure it's material... and insured but I just hope everything will stay intact for your return...
