I'm leaving in a MONTH!!! Where has the time gone!?! I don't have my visa yet!!! My leave from work still hasn't been approved!!! I'm probably going to end up teaching English to little kids, I've never done anything like that!!! I'm going to see my family and boyfriend maybe once in the year!!! My cats will forget me!!!

~Mel runs screaming in small circles for a few minutes, waving her arms and hyperventilating~

Just remember: No matter what happens, you'll be in JAPAN, so it can only be so bad. ):>) I now that was how i felt three weeks ago when i was in Tokyo, but i managed to survive and make it back to the USA. -:thinks about what he just said:- Oh damn. Breathe. Don't worry. My trip to China, I only got my visa (and I had to get one for Korea, too!) a week before my flight. You'll be fine.

And even if you do end up teaching English to little kids... you'll do fine. (Unless you have littlekidphobia). I teach English to French three-to-five-year-olds, and it's not as hard as you'd think.

How cool. You and I will be going to Japan at about the same time. But I will be way up north in Misawa. I'm arriving there Oct 7th and staying for 2 and a half years. But anyway, you are one of my favorite authors and I'm glad you will continue writing there. Have fun.
