Samuel L. Jackson's character was giving a rousing inspirational speech, about how they were going to All Pull Together Dammit and they would Get Out Together. I was sitting back looking at this with a jaundiced expression, thinking "Great, this sounds like it's going to segue into a We Will Win Because We Are Amurrican speech, blah, seen enough of that lately" ...and then the shark proved that giving that speech in front of a wet airlock pool was a bad idea. XD

I cheered. Is that bad? :3

Cheering because Sam Jackson didn't survive the movie, yes, is bad. Cheering because the speech is idiotic and overused, and lampshaded thus with the untimely (and gory) demise of the speechgiver, no, is NOT a bad thing. ^_^
