melredcapRight! I'm feeling pretty good right now, life is not sucking, and therefore I wish to do something silly. I got this meme off of Ysabet's LJ (hi Ysa!).

1. I don't get mad easily.
2. I can write things that some people actually *like* (ye gods!)
3. My mental age varies between about three and about 20, and I *don't* *care*.

1. I'm lazy.
2. Way too many things go straight over my head. Subtext? What subtext?
3. I haven't got much willpower. Well... yeah, I've got willpower. It's WON'T-power I lack. Instant gratification, here I come!

1. Scottish.

1. Dentists.

1. A pair of silver sleeper earrings.
2. Underwear with little flowers on it.

1. Queen.

1. 'The Curse of Millhaven' by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
2. 'Everybody Knows' by Leonard Cohen.
3. 'Monster' by Something for Kate. (Ummmm... why do these songs have nothing to do with my favourite bands? O_o;)
THREE NEW THINGS YOU WANT TO TRY IN THE NEXT 12 MONTHS:
1. Take the Japanese Language Proficiency Exam, get a recognised qualification in the language, and move to a job where I can use it.
2. Actually FINISH a quilt.
3. Make some of my own clothes... specifically, skirts. I can never find good skirts. (Yeah, yeah, I never *wear* skirts, but that's 'cause I can't find good ones, OK?)
THREE THINGS YOU WANT IN A RELATIONSHIP (love is a given):
1. A shared sense of humour.
2. Enough differences to be interesting.
3. Enough tolerance to make the differences JUST interesting, not a pain in the @55.
TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE
1. I looked Chinese when I was born - black hair and jaundice.
2. Most of the stories I've written have started out life as a dream. A really detailed, complicated, full-colour-with-plenty-of-background dream.
3. I like olives.
THREE PHYSICAL THINGS ABOUT THE OPPOSITE SEX (or same) THAT APPEAL TO YOU:
1. A beautiful smile.
2. Muscles. Yum.
3. The ability to lift a suitcase after I've crammed it with all the reading material essential to a week-long stay away from my bookshelves. (So that's basically #2 restated. Deal.)
THREE THINGS YOU JUST CAN'T DO:
1. Eat nattou. *shudder*
2. Lie convincingly.
3. Dance.
THREE OF YOUR FAVORITE HOBBIES:
1. Cross-stitch.
2. Reading.
3. Breeding fish.

1. Get a couple new games for my Gameboy (oh, and 'Prince of Persia II' for the XBox!)
2. Get paid enough to live in the style to which I'd like to become accustomed.

1. Writer.
2. Japanese-English translator, preferably of manga and anime.
3. Anything that would let me live in Japan and bring in enough money to afford an apartment there.
