Test drives!

Test drives crush my illusions. :P

I am too tall to drive a Smart Fortwo. *sniffle* Well, I can drive it... what I can't do is be at a comfortable distance from the pedals/steering wheel and see the speedometer at the same time! If I can see the speedo, I'm either hanging onto the wheel like it's about to escape forwards, or I'm banging my knees into the dashboard. If I'm sitting comfortably, the steering wheel blocks the 30-110 km/h section of the speedo. That's a bit of a large range to have to say "No, officer, I really don't know how fast I was going..."

*le sigh* I wanted a Smart. They're cute. :(

In happier news, the Toyota Yaris looks like it will be a more than acceptable substitute. And it's cheaper. =3
